A tragedy occurred in London<\/strong> that shook the British press: 46-year-old Aditi Vijay Paralcar<\/strong>, her 47-year-old<\/strong> husband Rakesh Narayan Pai<\/strong> and their 9-year-old<\/strong> son Sid Pai Paralcar<\/strong> died after falling from the 36th<\/strong> floor of a residential tower in the Elephant and Castle<\/strong> area. The incident occurred on the morning of 27 May 2026<\/strong>. According to local media<\/a>, the family lived in the high-rise building UNCLE \/ Highpoint<\/strong> on Churchyard Row<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Emergency services received a call at approximately 7:29\u20137:30<\/strong> a.m. after reports of people falling from a height. Police and medics arrived at the scene, but all three<\/strong> family members were pronounced dead at the scene. British outlets report that the family lived on the 36th<\/strong> floor of the 46-storey<\/strong> tower.<\/p>\n

The police officially named the deceased: the father \u2014 Rakesh Narayan Pai<\/strong>, 47<\/strong>, the mother \u2014 Aditi Vijay Paralcar<\/strong>, 46<\/strong>, the son \u2014 Sid Pai Paralcar<\/strong>, 9<\/strong>. According to British media, the parents were originally from India<\/strong>, and their son was likely born in the United Kingdom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A separate and most painful part of this story is the boy\u2019s health. The Times<\/strong> reports that Sid Pai Paralcar<\/strong> had serious health problems for many years, and in the weeks before the tragedy his condition deteriorated. The paper also writes that the child required frequent urgent medical care, was home-schooled, and the primary burden of daily care for the son fell on the mother.<\/p>\n

According to British media, the boy had serious illnesses, including a referenced kidney disease. Local MP Neil Coyle<\/strong>, who represents the Bermondsey and Old Southwark<\/strong> constituency, said the child was born with serious conditions, and the son’s medical state could have been one of the factors that led to the tragedy.<\/p>\n

At the same time the police are not drawing final conclusions yet. Investigators are examining the circumstances of the family’s deaths, maintaining an open position, and the materials are to be passed to the coroner. British media report that no other persons are currently being sought in connection with the case.<\/p>\n
