As of May 2026<\/strong> the majority of Ukrainians continued to trust President Volodymyr Zelensky<\/strong>. The results of a survey by the indicate<\/a> this.<\/p>\n

According to sociologists, 61% of Ukrainians<\/strong> trust Volodymyr Zelensky<\/strong>, while 34%<\/strong> expressed distrust. The trust\u2013distrust balance is +27%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Compared with April 2026<\/strong>, the figures have hardly changed, although the trust\u2013distrust balance has slightly improved.<\/p>\n

Among those who support the president, 33%<\/strong> said they trust him completely, and another 28%<\/strong> – rather trust him. At the same time 20%<\/strong> of respondents said they do not trust him at all, and 13%<\/strong> – rather do not trust him.<\/p>\n

Among political and socio-political figures the best trust ratings, according to KIIS, are held by the mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov<\/strong> – 52%<\/strong> trust versus 19%<\/strong> distrust, and also the Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov<\/strong> – 50%<\/strong> trust versus 21%<\/strong> distrust.<\/p>\n

Also mentioned in this list is the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim<\/strong>: 47%<\/strong> of respondents trust him, 27%<\/strong> do not.<\/p>\n

The lowest level of trust among politicians, sociologists recorded for the head of the parliamentary group “Platform for Life and Peace” Yuriy Boyko<\/strong> – 6%<\/strong>, and also the leader of the party “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko<\/strong> – 11%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Separately, high trust ratings are held by figures from the defence sphere. The former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine<\/strong>, Ukraine\u2019s ambassador to the United Kingdom Valerii Zaluzhnyi<\/strong> is trusted by 73%<\/strong> of Ukrainians, distrusted by 21%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert Brovdi<\/strong> is trusted by 70%<\/strong> of respondents, distrusted by 7%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Head of the Office of the President, former head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) Kyrylo Budanov<\/strong> is also trusted by 70%<\/strong> of Ukrainians, while 22%<\/strong> do not trust him.<\/p>\n

The survey was conducted from<\/strong> 7 May to 3 June <\/strong>2026 by telephone interviews. It involved 1,015 respondents<\/strong>. The sampling statistical error does not exceed 4.1%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
