As a result of the strike, the container receiving building was partially damaged. This was reported by <strong>NNEGC &#8220;Energoatom&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">According to the company, the strike occurred at <strong>02:10<\/strong>. The partially destroyed container receiving building was not being used to store spent nuclear fuel at the time of the attack. After the impact, a fire broke out over an area of <strong>40 sq. m<\/strong>. The fire was promptly contained and fully extinguished. The company continues continuous monitoring of the situation and is coordinating with all responsible state services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This strike was another Russian attack on Ukraine&#8217;s nuclear infrastructure project. Even if spent nuclear fuel was not stored in the damaged building, the very fact of a hit on the site of such a facility is a direct threat to nuclear and radiation safety.<\/p>\n<p> The strike on the <strong>CSNFS<\/strong> once again demonstrates that<strong> Russia is acting as a state-terrorist and a nuclear terrorist<\/strong>, disregarding international law, the safety of civilians, and risks to millions of people.
