The director of the Mykolaiv Oblast Employment Center, Dmytro Oboronko<\/strong>, in his declaration for 2025<\/strong> listed a newer family car \u2014 a Lexus ES 250, 2019 model year<\/strong>. The vehicle’s value in the document is stated at 1.2 million hryvnias<\/strong>. This is evidenced by the data of the declaration<\/a> submitted to the NAZK<\/strong> registry for 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The car was purchased in February 2025<\/strong>. The vehicle’s owner is listed as the official’s wife, Mariia Davydova<\/strong>, but the declaration notes that Dmytro Oboronko<\/strong> also uses it. In the previous declaration the family listed a different Lexus \u2014 a Lexus IS250, 2015 model year<\/strong>. Judging from the declaration data, that car was sold, as it no longer appears in the 2025<\/strong> report.<\/p>\n

At his main job at the Mykolaiv Oblast Employment Center<\/strong>, Dmytro Oboronko<\/strong> received 889,585 hryvnias<\/strong> in salary in 2025<\/strong>. That is 180,036 hryvnias<\/strong> more than a year earlier, when his earnings at his main job were about 709,500 hryvnias<\/strong>. On average, the director’s salary at the employment center in 2025<\/strong> amounted to roughly 74,100 hryvnias<\/strong> per month. For comparison, in 2024<\/strong> that figure was about 59,100 hryvnias<\/strong> per month.<\/p>\n

In addition to his main salary, Dmytro Oboronko<\/strong> also declared 69,172 hryvnias<\/strong> in income from secondary employment. This refers to his work as an associate professor in the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Mathematical Modeling at the Mykolaiv National Agrarian University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The official’s wife, Mariia Davydova<\/strong>, declared 221,178 hryvnias<\/strong> in salary for 2025<\/strong> from the Mykolaiv Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine<\/strong>. Her income also includes 415,000 hryvnias<\/strong> from the sale of a car.<\/p>\n

In the real estate section, Dmytro Oboronko<\/strong> listed a residential house of 230.2 m\u00b2<\/strong> registered to Klavdiia Oboronko<\/strong>. The declaration also includes the wife’s apartment of 45 m\u00b2<\/strong> and four land plots with a total area of more than 19 hectares<\/strong> owned by the couple.<\/p>\n

A separate point of interest is the change in the official’s cash assets. While in the 2024<\/strong> declaration Dmytro Oboronko<\/strong> reported 850,000 hryvnias<\/strong> in cash, in the 2025<\/strong> declaration that amount is 200,000 hryvnias<\/strong>. In other words, the declared cash savings decreased by 650,000 hryvnias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Formally, the declaration explains part of the family’s financial movements: it shows income from the sale of the previous car, salaries, and a reduction in cash holdings. At the same time, the purchase of a car for 1.2 million hryvnias<\/strong> by the head of an institution responsible for employment in a frontline region naturally attracts public interest.<\/p>\n

Especially against the backdrop that for many residents of Mykolaiv region<\/strong> the issues of employment, stable pay and survival during the war remain daily challenges.<\/p>\n
