The court found a resident of Mykolaiv<\/strong> guilty of the unauthorized dissemination of information about the locations of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine<\/strong> during martial law and sentenced him to 10<\/strong> years in prison.<\/p>\n

According to the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the man used electronic maps to record the deployment sites of Ukrainian troops in Mykolaiv<\/strong>, paying particular attention to locations with large concentrations of personnel and equipment.<\/p>\n

Investigators established that the collected coordinates were passed by the perpetrator through an agent of the Russian special services, Serhii Lebedev, known under the pseudonym “Lohmaty”.<\/p>\n

The verdict was handed down under Part 3<\/strong> of Article 114-2<\/strong> of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides liability for the unauthorized dissemination of information about the placement of defense forces under martial law.<\/p>\n

As clarified by the SBU Directorate in Mykolaiv Oblast, the convicted man is a 45<\/strong>-year-old local resident who adjusted Russia’s missile and drone strikes on the port city and, acting on the instructions of “Lohmaty”, prepared a new series of air attacks on the regional center.<\/p>\n

To collect information, the suspect drove around the streets of Mykolaiv<\/strong>, monitored the areas with the highest concentration of Ukrainian military personnel and recorded potential targets for subsequent transmission to the occupiers.<\/p>\n

The convicted man is in custody. The pre-trial investigation was conducted by officers of the SBU Directorate in Mykolaiv Oblast.<\/p>\n
