between <strong>Varvarivka<\/strong> and <strong>Matviivka<\/strong>; the first trips are scheduled for <strong>23.05<\/strong> and <strong>24.05<\/strong>, according to local historian and guide Tetiana Hubska.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s trips will depart from Nyzhnii <strong>BAM<\/strong> with access to the Southern Bug\u2019s waters in the direction between <strong>Varvarivka<\/strong> and <strong>Matviivka<\/strong>; the route will last <strong>1.5<\/strong> hours, and the participation fee is <strong>450<\/strong> hryvnias per person.<\/p>\n<p>During the boat trip, participants will learn about the steppe landscape of the <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong> region with its burial mounds and treasures, Cossack churches and notable figures of the <strong>18th\u201319th<\/strong> centuries, will hear why <strong>Varvarivka<\/strong> was once called \u201cLambertivka,\u201d and why present-day <strong>Matviivka<\/strong> was called \u201cChervone,\u201d who owned these lands <strong>200<\/strong> years ago and what artifacts archaeologists have found on the banks of the Southern Bug.<\/p>\n<p>According to Tetiana Hubska, on Saturday <strong>23.05<\/strong> a departure is
