This was reported by the Lviv region police.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"1151\">The accident occurred on <strong data-start=\"988\" data-end=\"1001\">15 May<\/strong> 2026. According to preliminary information from law enforcement, a minor resident of the village of <strong data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1075\">Pidluby<\/strong> was driving a <strong data-start=\"1097\" data-end=\"1120\">Common Scorpion 200<\/strong> ATV and struck a pedestrian. The victim turned out to be a <strong data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1188\">39-year-old<\/strong> local resident. After the accident, the man was hospitalized with bodily injuries.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1271\" data-end=\"1462\">Following the accident, investigators of the <strong data-start=\"1295\" data-end=\"1337\">Yavoriv District Police Department<\/strong> opened a criminal case under <strong data-start=\"1374\" data-end=\"1418\">Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong> &#8211; violation of traffic safety rules. The sanction of the article provides for up to <strong data-start=\"1493\" data-end=\"1523\">three years of restriction of liberty<\/strong> with possible deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to <strong data-start=\"1598\" data-end=\"1613\">three years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1616\" data-end=\"1772\">Law enforcement are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
