This was reported on <strong data-start=\"1045\" data-end=\"1068\">May 14<\/strong>, 2026, by the mayor <strong data-start=\"1094\" data-end=\"1116\">Oleksandr Senkevych<\/strong>. According to the mayor, it concerns <strong data-start=\"1148\" data-end=\"1162\">40 carriages<\/strong>. The city is now moving to the practical phase of implementing this project &#8211; preparing specialists who will thereafter work daily with this transport.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1309\" data-end=\"1573\">In <strong data-start=\"1311\" data-end=\"1324\">Gothenburg<\/strong> the employees of <strong data-start=\"1336\" data-end=\"1363\">&#8220;Mykolaivelektrotrans&#8221;<\/strong> are to familiarize themselves with the equipment, learn how to maintain it, and get to grips with the processes of daily operation. It also concerns technical nuances without which launching such carriages in <strong data-start=\"1547\" data-end=\"1560\">Mykolaiv<\/strong> would not be possible.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1894\">This story has been going on for more than a month. It was previously reported that <strong data-start=\"1640\" data-end=\"1652\">Mykolaiv<\/strong> is considering the possibility of receiving <strong data-start=\"1683\" data-end=\"1708\">40 tram cars<\/strong> of the <strong data-start=\"1716\" data-end=\"1723\">M29<\/strong> model from Swedish <strong data-start=\"1738\" data-end=\"1751\">Gothenburg<\/strong>, which are being withdrawn from service there but could still operate after appropriate preparation and adaptation. One of the key technical issues is the different track gauge: <strong data-start=\"1955\" data-end=\"1968\">Mykolaiv<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1972\" data-end=\"1985\">Gothenburg<\/strong> use different rail systems, so the carriages will require adaptation before a possible launch on city routes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2149\" data-end=\"2444\"><strong data-start=\"2149\" data-end=\"2171\">Oleksandr Senkevych<\/strong> noted that the cooperation began several years ago during his trip to <strong data-start=\"2253\" data-end=\"2267\">Stockholm<\/strong>, where he had a conversation with <strong data-start=\"2290\" data-end=\"2309\">Ragnar Lund<\/strong>. According to the mayor, it was thanks to the work of <strong data-start=\"2359\" data-end=\"2376\">Ragnar Lund<\/strong>, the government of <strong data-start=\"2384\" data-end=\"2394\">Sweden<\/strong> and the city of <strong data-start=\"2404\" data-end=\"2416\">Gothenburg<\/strong> that this project became a reality. The mayor also emphasized that the employees of <strong data-start=\"2482\" data-end=\"2509\">&#8220;Mykolaivelektrotrans&#8221;<\/strong> represent in <strong data-start=\"2526\" data-end=\"2536\">Sweden<\/strong> not only the needs of the city, but also the experience of the enterprise itself, which has a long history.
