From May 1<\/strong> updated rules on utility tariffs, social payments and a number of state programs come into force in Ukraine. UNIAN reports on the key changes: UNIAN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A single electricity tariff for households remains at 4.32 UAH per kWh<\/strong>. At the same time, the preferential regime for owners of electric heating has been canceled: the first 2,000 kWh<\/strong> are now paid at the general tariff.<\/p>\n

The gas price for household consumers of the company “\u041d\u0430\u0444\u0442\u043e\u0433\u0430\u0437”<\/strong> is fixed at 7.96 UAH per cubic meter<\/strong>. This tariff is to remain in effect at least until April 2027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There is no single nationwide water tariff in Ukraine. Decisions on prices are made by local councils or NEURC<\/strong>, so residents need to check the current amounts with their local water utility.<\/p>\n

Subsidies for the summer period are recalculated automatically and will be valid until September 30<\/strong>. However, new applications must be submitted by internally displaced persons, tenants, families whose actual household composition is smaller than the registered one, and households that did not receive a subsidy in winter.<\/p>\n

IDP child payments have been extended. Applications are accepted until June 1<\/strong>, and payments are credited from February<\/strong>. Children up to 6 years<\/strong> receive assistance regardless of their parents’ income, and for children from 6 to 18 years<\/strong> the place of residence and schooling will be taken into account.<\/p>\n

You can now apply for a postponement of mobilization through the CNAP<\/strong> or online in the “Reserv+”<\/strong> app. The application is reviewed within 7 to 14 days<\/strong>. During this period, the person liable for military service cannot be mobilized.<\/p>\n

The “Affordable Medicines”<\/strong> program also has new requirements. To receive hormonal therapy drugs for breast cancer, an individual treatment plan formed in the ESOZ<\/strong> system is required.<\/p>\n

“Ukrzaliznytsia”<\/strong> is introducing dynamic pricing for tickets in SV<\/strong> and 1st class<\/strong> cars of “Intercity”<\/strong> trains. It is cheapest to travel on Tuesday and Wednesday, and more expensive on Friday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

Also from May 1<\/strong> the network of women-only carriages is being expanded. They will appear on routes No. 7<\/strong> Kharkiv – Odesa<\/strong>, No. 12<\/strong> Lviv – Odesa<\/strong> and No. 92<\/strong> Lviv – Kyiv<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
