This was reported by <strong data-start=\"446\" data-end=\"453\">SAP<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"465\">NABU<\/strong>. According to the investigation, the officials acted through a lawyer-intermediary.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"570\" data-end=\"1100\">The investigation established that the said officials, through the intermediary lawyer, demanded from the owner of an enterprise <strong data-start=\"680\" data-end=\"705\">110 thousand US dollars<\/strong>. For this money they, according to the anti-corruption agencies, promised to secure the conclusion of a plea agreement in the case concerning the crime provided for in <strong data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"907\">Part 4 of Art.111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong> &#8211; conducting business activities in cooperation with a state-aggressor. It concerned the supply of equipment to the <strong data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1011\">RF<\/strong> through shell companies in <strong data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1061\">Kazakhstan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1102\" data-end=\"1286\">The suspects were exposed immediately after receiving the second part of the illicit benefit &#8211; <strong data-start=\"1182\" data-end=\"1206\">55 thousand US dollars<\/strong>. Primary investigative actions are currently underway.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1657\">This story is especially telling against the backdrop of the war: the case, which concerned a possible economic interaction with a state-aggressor, according to the investigation, could have turned into a way of making money for certain law enforcement officers.
