A doctor of the military medical commission from Mykolaiv declared a one million hryvnia gift from a relative and purchased an SUV. Certain details in the declaration raise questions about the valuation of the property.<\/p>\n

The head of the angioneurology department City Hospital No. 1 of Mykolaiv<\/span><\/span> and member of the VLK Volodymyr Nikulin<\/span><\/span><\/strong> in his declaration for 2025<\/strong> indicated receiving 1 mln UAH<\/strong> as a gift.<\/p>\n

According to him, the funds were provided by a relative; however, he refused to answer questions about the origin of the money.<\/p>\n

“Mykola Vdovenko is my maternal grandfather. I don\u2019t think this concerns you, me, or anyone else”, – Nikulin explained in a comment to a reporter of \u00abSlidstvo.Info<\/a>\u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Nikulin spent the received funds on purchasing a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150, 2019 model year<\/strong>, which he bought in the autumn of 2025<\/strong> for approximately 1.08 mln UAH<\/strong>, although the market value of such a vehicle is almost 2 mln UAH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition, the declaration lists two more family cars with significantly undervalued estimates. In particular, the Lexus LX 470, 2007<\/strong> was valued by the doctor at 20,000 UAH<\/strong>, while its market value is about 700,000 UAH<\/strong>. His wife’s car, a Hyundai Getz, 2007<\/strong>, was declared at 5,000 UAH<\/strong>, although the average market price is around 200,000 UAH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the document, the family’s income for 2025<\/strong> (excluding the gift) was just over 650,000 UAH<\/strong>, and 3,000 USD<\/strong> in savings were also declared.<\/p>\n

It is also known that Volodymyr Nikulin<\/span><\/span> filed his first declaration late after being appointed to the VLK in 2024<\/strong>. The court found him guilty of an administrative offense, but the case was closed due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.<\/p>\n

Court documents state that the doctor did not attend the hearings, and his defense repeatedly asked to postpone the proceedings for various reasons \u2014 from shifts to vacation abroad.<\/p>\n
