Some of the children were hospitalized, and the police have already opened a criminal investigation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"716\" data-end=\"845\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Voznesensk District Police Department<\/span><\/span> reported on <strong>April 23<\/strong>, 2026 that it is investigating the poisoning of children at one of the preschool education institutions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"1011\">According to medical professionals, the children were diagnosed with moderate gastroenterocolitis. As of now, the parents of <strong data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"982\">11 children<\/strong> who attended the facility have sought medical help.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1013\" data-end=\"1197\">Of them, <strong data-start=\"1020\" data-end=\"1032\">10 children<\/strong> are receiving inpatient treatment, and one more child is being treated on an outpatient basis. All the affected children are receiving necessary medical care, and their condition is being monitored by doctors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1199\" data-end=\"1378\">Investigators have opened a criminal case under <strong data-start=\"1256\" data-end=\"1281\">Part 1 of Article 325 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong> \u2014 violation of sanitary rules and norms regarding the prevention of infectious diseases and mass poisonings.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1380\" data-end=\"1601\">Specialists from the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Mykolaiv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine<\/span><\/span> are conducting a sanitary-epidemiological investigation.
