There are already 1.8<\/strong> million veterans in Ukraine, and the government is placing emphasis on strengthening their economic independence; this was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The head of government outlined the goal \u2014 to employ 100<\/strong> thousand veterans by 2030<\/strong> in close cooperation between the state and business.<\/p>\n

Our goal is to employ 100,000 veterans by 2030 in partnership between the state and business<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

for 2026\u20132027, which will provide support for a person from the moment of employment to successful adaptation in the workplace.<\/p>\n

Svyrydenko also outlined planned legislative guarantees for servicemembers and veterans, which are intended to ensure the preservation of labor rights and social benefits.<\/p>\n

We are embedding guarantees in the new Labor Code for employees during the period of military service \u2014 with the preservation of their job and position after service. Rights and social guarantees for veterans have for the first time been systemically set out in a separate Veterans’ Code, which has already been registered in parliament<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The business sector is also joining state initiatives: already 120<\/strong> of the country\u2019s largest employers have supported veteran-friendly principles and declare their readiness to create appropriate conditions at their enterprises.<\/p>\n
