Mykolaiv-based<\/b> company LLC \u00abProssecco 8\u00bb<\/b>, which became embroiled in a major scandal over delays in food deliveries and flagrant violations of food preparation standards for 27 Mykolaiv schools<\/b>, likely has close ties to local officials. This was stated<\/a> by Nikcenter.<\/b> Journalists reported that the company’s official owner likely worked for the family of the head of the Inhul District Administration<\/b> and city council deputy Hanna Remennikova<\/b>, and that the company’s legal services were likely provided by the head of the legal department of the same administration.<\/p>\n

Contract for 14.2 million and “porridge in the rain”<\/b><\/h3>\n

Recall that LLC \u00abProssecco 8\u00bb<\/b> won a contract for catering services<\/b><\/a> for part of Mykolaiv’s<\/b> schools until the end of December 2025<\/b>. The municipal enterprise responsible for school meals signed a contract with it for a total amount of about UAH 14.2 million<\/b>.<\/p>\n

However, the very first day of the new contractor’s<\/b> work caused public outcry<\/b> and anger<\/b> among parents, who complained that children did not receive breakfasts or that food was delivered too late\u2026 The situation was further inflamed by a video released by journalists showing employees of \u00abProssecco 8\u00bb<\/b> preparing porridge for children in a tent in the rain.<\/p>\n

City hall and the private company then explained the situation as a \u201ctechnical malfunction<\/b>\u201d and \u201cstaff shortage<\/b>\u201d. However, as it later emerged, the municipal production enterprise checked only the company’s documents<\/b> before signing the contract, and not its actual capacities<\/b>, which raises critical questions<\/b> about the quality of management.<\/p>\n

Shocking ties to the Inhul Administration<\/b><\/h3>\n

Journalists uncovered direct links<\/b> between the scandalous firm and the leadership of the Inhul District<\/b>:<\/p>\n

    Connection through the family:<\/b> The owner of LLC \u00abProssecco 8\u00bb<\/b>, Iryna Stoyeva<\/b>, previously worked as a manager<\/b> at LLC \u00abBBV 2021\u00bb<\/b>. The head of that company is Borys Berestnev<\/b> \u2014 the son of the head of the Inhul District Administration Hanna Remennikova<\/b>. Journalists also reported that food for pupils was prepared on the premises of the Remennikova family’s restaurant<\/b>. Iryna Stoyeva<\/b> insisted that it was only a rental<\/b> of the premises.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Legal link:<\/b> In March 2024<\/b> LLC \u00abProssecco 8\u00bb<\/b> (previously called \u00abVipbauer\u00bb<\/b>) was re-registered to Iryna Stoyeva<\/b>. Two months later, when winning an auction<\/b> for the lease of a city administrative building, the company listed a contact number<\/b> that likely belongs to the head of the legal support department of the Inhul District Administration, Anastasiia Korzhenko<\/b>.<\/p>\n

    In the tags, the mobile number of Anastasiia Korzhenko<\/b> is labeled, among other things, as \u00ablawyer of the Inhul District Administration\u00bb<\/b>, \u00abProssecco LLC\u00bb<\/b> and \u00abNastya lawyer Remennikova\u00bb<\/b>.<\/p>\n

    Serhii Markin and “shell companies”<\/b><\/h3>\n

    The company’s founder<\/b> deserves separate attention. LLC \u00abProssecco 8\u00bb<\/b> was founded in 2023<\/b> by Serhii Markin<\/b> \u2014 a Mykolaiv resident<\/b> who is behind more than a hundred<\/b> companies. As Nikcenter<\/b> found out, Markin<\/b> is involved in the mass creation<\/b> and re-registration of shell companies<\/b> used for dubious financial operations.<\/p>\n

    Markin’s services have been used by well-known figures such as developer Mykhailo Zhendubaev<\/b> and beneficiaries associated with former MP Borys Kozyr<\/b>.<\/p>\n
