In the Korabelnyi District of the city of Mykolaiv<\/strong>, court records show a series of cases related to Yevhenii H.<\/strong>: first \u2014 a criminal conviction for hooliganism in a hospital, then \u2014 episodes of domestic violence against his mother, and later \u2014 a separate criminal case for evading participation in a program for offenders.<\/p>\n

The first confirmed episode concerns case No. 488\/4405\/24<\/strong><\/a>. By the verdict of the Korabelnyi District Court of the city of Mykolaiv<\/strong> dated 30.09.2024<\/strong>, on the night of 13.09.2024<\/strong> Yevhenii H.<\/strong> entered the emergency department of KNP MMR “City Hospital No.5”<\/strong>. The court found that there he, without cause and with hooligan motives, attacked an employee of the facility: beat her with his hands and feet, pulled her hair, and also caused shouting and swearing at night in a public place. In addition, he damaged hospital property \u2014 an interior door and a phone \u2014 causing the medical institution losses totaling UAH 6,464<\/strong>. The court found him guilty under part 1<\/strong> of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong> \u2014 hooliganism \u2014 but did not impose imprisonment, instead assigning 1 year of probationary supervision<\/strong> and ordering him to reimburse the hospital for the full amount of the material damage.<\/p>\n

By the end of October 2024<\/strong> the man again became involved in another category of cases \u2014 this time about domestic violence. In case No. 488\/5055\/24<\/strong><\/a> the court combined three separate episodes. The first occurred on 23.10.2024<\/strong> at about 23:51<\/strong>, when, according to the case materials, Yevhenii H.<\/strong> committed psychological domestic violence against his mother. At that time an urgent restraining order was already in effect against him, which obliged him to leave the place of residence, prohibited him from entering the home and contacting the victim, but he did not comply with these requirements.<\/p>\n

The second episode was recorded on 25.10.2024<\/strong> at 22:59<\/strong> \u2014 this was a repeat violation of the same order. The third occurred on 27.10.2024<\/strong> at 20:28<\/strong>, when he again, as the court established, insulted his mother with obscene language, causing her psychological suffering. In court the victim confirmed that her son cursed at her, was intoxicated, and ignored the restrictions, which required calling the police.<\/p>\n

However, harsh punishment did not follow in this story either. The mother asked the court not to punish her son severely, explaining this by reconciliation and by the claim that he had allegedly begun to reform. The court found that the elements of the offense were present but released him from administrative liability and limited itself to an oral warning.<\/p>\n

The story did not end there. As follows from the verdict in case No. 488\/1232\/25<\/strong><\/a>, by a court ruling dated 28.10.2024<\/strong> in case No. 488\/4282\/24<\/strong> Yevhenii H.<\/strong> was recognized guilty under part 1<\/strong> of Article 173-2 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (\u041a\u0423\u043f\u0410\u041f)<\/strong>. In addition to administrative arrest for 10 days<\/strong>, he was sent to a three-month program for offenders. On 24.12.2024<\/strong> he was given a referral to the Mykolaiv City Center of Social Services<\/strong> and warned about criminal liability in case of evasion.<\/p>\n

However, as the court found, starting from 05.01.2025<\/strong> he, without good reason, did not attend the required sessions, and as of 10.02.2025<\/strong> had attended only a consultation and had not begun full participation in the program. At the time of consideration of this case he was already a mobilized serviceman \u2014 a rifleman-assistant grenade launcher operator of a mechanized unit of military unit NUMBER_1<\/strong>. The court found him guilty under Article 390-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong> \u2014 intentional evasion of participation in a program for offenders \u2014 and sentenced him to 1 year of restriction of liberty<\/strong>, but suspended actual serving with a 1-year<\/strong> probationary period.<\/p>\n

Thus, from the available court materials the following sequence is visible at minimum: in September 2024<\/strong> \u2014 a hooligan attack in a hospital; in October 2024<\/strong> \u2014 conflicts with his mother and violations of a restraining order; and later \u2014 criminal liability for failing to complete the mandatory program for offenders.<\/p>\n
