According to eyewitnesses, among those who found themselves under threat was a child.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"654\" data-end=\"766\">It is known that one of the civilian men was killed as a result of the attack. Information about other victims is being clarified.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"1067\">Interior Minister <strong data-start=\"817\" data-end=\"834\">Ihor Klymenko<\/strong> reacted to the situation, announcing the start of an official review of the police officers&#8217; actions. At his instruction, the head of the <strong data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"957\">National Police of Ukraine<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"958\" data-end=\"977\">Ivan Vygivskyi<\/strong>, is to conduct an investigation and forward all materials to the <strong data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1066\">State Bureau of Investigation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\">\n<p data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1547\">&#8220;I instructed the Head of the National Police of Ukraine, Ivan Vygivskyi, to carry out an official investigation into the actions of the police during the terrorist attack in Kyiv and to provide all information to the DBR. &#8216;To serve and protect&#8217; is not just a slogan. It must be backed up by appropriate professional actions. Especially in critical moments when people&#8217;s lives depend on it. The results and decisions of the official investigation will be published by the National Police in the shortest possible time,&#8221; Klymenko said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1831\">Thus, the situation surrounding the actions of law enforcement during the emergency incident has reached the level of an official investigation. Its results should answer the main question \u2014 whether the police acted in accordance with their duties at the moment when people&#8217;s lives depended on their decisions.
