{"id":582613,"date":"2026-04-15T16:11:23","date_gmt":"2026-04-15T13:11:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/2026\/04\/582613\/a-soldier-sold-4-humanitarian-jeeps-for-17-000\/"},"modified":"2026-04-15T16:11:26","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T13:11:26","slug":"a-soldier-sold-4-humanitarian-jeeps-for-17-000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/en\/2026\/04\/582613\/a-soldier-sold-4-humanitarian-jeeps-for-17-000\/","title":{"rendered":"A soldier sold 4 humanitarian jeeps for $17,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong>, the court refused to approve a plea agreement in the case of a serviceman suspected of selling SUVs that were brought in as humanitarian aid.<\/p>\n<p>The decision was reported by the press service of the Central District Court of <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong>, publishing the information on its <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/centrcourt\/792\">Telegram channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This concerns a clerk of one of the military units, who is charged under part <strong>3<\/strong> of article <strong>201-2<\/strong> of the Criminal Code of Ukraine \u2014 illegal use of humanitarian aid, charitable donations or gratuitous assistance.<\/p>\n<p>According to the investigation, in February <strong>2026<\/strong> the serviceman sold <strong>4<\/strong> SUVs imported on preferential terms as humanitarian aid, with a total value of about <strong>17<\/strong> thousand US dollars.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor, the defendant and his defender filed a motion to approve an agreement that provided for a service restriction for <strong>2<\/strong> years with a withholding of <strong>10%<\/strong> of his pay to the state, as well as a ban on engaging in activities related to humanitarian aid for another <strong>2<\/strong> years.<\/p>\n<p>Judge <strong>Tetyana Fortuna<\/strong>, having reviewed the submitted materials, concluded that such an arrangement does not serve the interests of society due to the heightened public danger of the act \u2014 the sale of vehicles intended for the needs of Ukraine&#8217;s defense.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the court refused to approve the agreement.
