According to preliminary data, the occupiers entered the positions of Ukrainian defenders, took four fighters captive, and then deliberately shot them.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"1168\">Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor&#8217;s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched under <strong data-start=\"865\" data-end=\"909\">part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong> \u2014 cruel treatment of prisoners of war that caused deaths. Law enforcement officers say they are taking all necessary measures to establish the full picture of the crime and the Russian servicemen involved.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1565\" data-end=\"1870\">This is not the first case in which Russian forces are suspected of executing Ukrainian prisoners.
