In the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv<\/strong>, near the second entrance of the building at 5 Korabeliv Avenue<\/strong>, residents recorded a subsidence of the road surface on April 10<\/strong>, 2026 and reported<\/a> it in the Korabeliv.Info Telegram chat. According to local residents, a cavity has formed under the asphalt that can grow by the day and poses a real danger to vehicles and pedestrians.<\/p>\n

Residents emphasize that the situation already appears critical: any passage of large vehicles, including delivery trucks, could lead to the complete collapse of the road section:<\/p>\n

\n

“If tomorrow morning some delivery truck (bread or dairy) goes to the shop – it could get stuck in that hole. The situation is scary”, – write the residents of the courtyard.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The managing company has already been notified of the problem. In turn, it must forward a request to the relevant municipal services, which should inspect the section and take measures to eliminate the collapse.<\/p>\n

It is currently unknown what exactly caused the cavity under the asphalt \u2014 it could be either deterioration of utilities or washout of the soil.
