At the same time, core inflation (excluding seasonal factors) rose by <strong data-start=\"488\" data-end=\"506\">1.5% for the month<\/strong> and by <strong data-start=\"512\" data-end=\"527\">7.1% for the year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"530\" data-end=\"865\">In the food market, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages on average <strong>increased<\/strong> by <strong data-start=\"632\" data-end=\"640\">1.3%<\/strong>. The largest jump was recorded for eggs \u2014 by as much as <strong data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"701\">7.7%<\/strong>. Processed grain products, sunflower oil, fruit, bread, fish, beef, vegetables, non-alcoholic beverages and salo also became more expensive \u2014 within the range of <strong data-start=\"848\" data-end=\"864\">0.8% to 4.8%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"1038\">At the same time, some products showed a slight <strong>price decrease.<\/strong> Prices for sugar, pasta, rice, pork, poultry meat and butter fell within the range of <strong data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1037\">0.1% to 1%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"1038\">Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products became more expensive by <strong data-start=\"1091\" data-end=\"1099\">1.1%<\/strong>, which is primarily due to an increase in the cost of tobacco products by <strong data-start=\"1169\" data-end=\"1177\">1.3%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"1038\"><strong>The most noticeable price increase<\/strong> was recorded in the clothing and footwear segment \u2014 prices jumped by <strong data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1285\">12%<\/strong>. In particular, clothing rose by <strong data-start=\"1315\" data-end=\"1322\">12%<\/strong>, and footwear by <strong data-start=\"1338\" data-end=\"1347\">11.8%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1350\" data-end=\"1582\">Transport costs also rose significantly \u2014 by <strong data-start=\"1397\" data-end=\"1405\">6.4%<\/strong>. The main reasons were the increase in the price of fuel and lubricants by <strong data-start=\"1466\" data-end=\"1475\">13.2%<\/strong>, as well as higher fares for rail transport by <strong data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1550\">8.2%<\/strong> and for road transport by <strong data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1581\">6%<\/strong>.
