From April 3 to 5, 2026<\/strong> in Uzhhorod<\/strong> the All-Ukrainian swimming tournament “Olympic Champions Cup 2026” took place. About 200<\/strong> young athletes from various regions of Ukraine took part in the competition. Representing Mykolaiv<\/strong> with honor at these events were the pupils of the Children and Youth Sports School “Ukraine”, which operates in the Korabelnyi District<\/strong> at the SKPB “Vodoley” base.<\/p>\n

Our swimmers returned home with a whole collection of medals in different age categories and at various distances.<\/p>\n

The brightest performance at the tournament was by Anastasiia Mukha<\/strong>, who among girls born in 2011 and older<\/strong> won four gold medals. She was the best at the 200 m<\/strong> and 100 m<\/strong> freestyle, in the 200 m<\/strong> individual medley, and also in the 100 m<\/strong> backstroke.<\/p>\n

Among girls born in 2012\u20132013<\/strong> Veronika Rudenko<\/strong> won gold, silver and bronze medals. She took first place in the 200 m<\/strong> freestyle, second – in the 100 m<\/strong> freestyle, and third – in the 200 m<\/strong> individual medley.<\/p>\n

In the same age category Ksenia Zozulia<\/strong> also climbed the podium. She finished second in the 100 m<\/strong> butterfly and third in the 200 m<\/strong> freestyle.<\/p>\n

Among girls born in 2014<\/strong> Yelyzaveta Kucherenko<\/strong> won silver and bronze medals. She finished second in the 100 m<\/strong> breaststroke and third in the 200 m<\/strong> breaststroke.<\/p>\n

Among boys born in 2016<\/strong> Danylo Baytalenko<\/strong> showed excellent form. He won two “golds” in the 50 m<\/strong> and 100 m<\/strong> butterfly, as well as two “silvers” in the 50 m<\/strong> and 100 m<\/strong> freestyle.<\/p>\n

In the boys’ 2014 age group<\/strong> Dmytro Tochonov<\/strong> performed very confidently. He won gold medals in the 200 m<\/strong> and 100 m<\/strong> freestyle, became the winner in the 200 m<\/strong> individual medley, and also finished third in the 100 m<\/strong> butterfly.<\/p>\n

Another strong result in this category was shown by Makar Danyliv<\/strong>. He won the 100 m<\/strong> butterfly, took silver medals in the 200 m<\/strong> and 100 m<\/strong> freestyle, and also bronze in the 200 m<\/strong> individual medley.<\/p>\n

Among boys born in 2012\u20132013<\/strong> Mykyta Bevz<\/strong> took second place in the 100 m<\/strong> breaststroke and third – in the 200 m<\/strong> breaststroke.<\/p>\n

In the boys’ 2016 age group<\/strong> two bronze medals were won by Heorhii Kharchenko<\/strong> – in the 50 m<\/strong> and 100 m<\/strong> freestyle.<\/p>\n

It is also worth noting the team performance of the Mykolaiv athletes. In the 8\u044550 m<\/strong> freestyle relay our swimmers took third place<\/strong>. The team included Anton Vasilyev<\/strong>, Makar Danyliv<\/strong>, Dmytro Tochonov<\/strong>, Viktor Viktorov<\/strong>, Yelyzaveta Kucherenko<\/strong>, Ksenia Zozulia<\/strong>, Veronika Rudenko<\/strong> and Anastasiia Mukha<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The athletes are coached by Vyacheslav Moroz<\/strong>. The successful performance at the all-Ukrainian tournament once again confirmed that young swimmers from Mykolaiv<\/strong> and the Korabelnyi District<\/strong> continue to maintain a high level and represent the city with distinction at prestigious competitions.<\/p>\n
