Russia intends in the long term to seize the Mykolaiv<\/strong> and Odesa<\/strong> oblasts, as well as Zaporizhzhia<\/strong> and Kherson<\/strong> oblasts, which Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Brigadier General Pavlo Palisa, said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the official, the occupying forces are constantly adjusting their plans and deadlines. In this year\u2019s spring-summer campaign their main attention will be focused on the Donbas, while the enemy will try to increase activity in the South \u2014 on the Oleksandrivsk<\/strong> and across the Zaporizhzhia<\/strong> directions, meaning the entire Zaporizhzhia<\/strong> oblast.<\/p>\n

Palisa also outlined the enemy\u2019s further intentions, which include buffer zones in the northeast, preparations for attempts at a new offensive in the south, and long-term plans regarding the Black Sea coast.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs for their further intentions: the Russians still have plans to create a buffer zone in the Kharkiv<\/strong>, Sumy<\/strong> and Chernihiv<\/strong> oblasts, to create conditions for an attempt to seize Zaporizhzhia<\/strong> and Kherson<\/strong> oblasts, and in the long term to realize their aggressive ambitions to capture the Mykolaiv<\/strong> and Odesa<\/strong> oblasts,\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Separately, the general noted that in the enemy\u2019s updated work there appeared an item about forming a buffer zone in the Vinnytsia<\/strong> oblast from the side of unrecognized Transnistria.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the first time they have recorded plans of this nature. Frankly, I say there is no need to panic here, because at the moment I do not see that they have the forces to carry out all these intentions,\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
