As a result of the measures taken, the criminal mechanism at <strong data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1147\">JSC &#8220;Ukrgazvydobuvannya&#8221;<\/strong> was neutralized, which caused the state losses of over <strong data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1201\">UAH 295 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1463\">According to the case materials, the organizers of the scheme were former company officials together with affiliated entrepreneurs. The investigation established that they embezzled funds allocated for procurements by artificially inflating the cost of materials needed for extraction.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1465\" data-end=\"1729\">In particular, controlled companies bought chemical additives and other products from manufacturers in Ukraine at market prices, after which they resold them to <strong data-start=\"1612\" data-end=\"1638\">JSC &#8220;Ukrgazvydobuvannya&#8221;<\/strong> with markups of <strong data-start=\"1659\" data-end=\"1671\">2\u20133 times<\/strong>. The profit obtained was distributed among the scheme participants. The conclusions of the forensic economic examination confirmed that the state company suffered losses of more than <strong data-start=\"1825\" data-end=\"1840\">UAH 295 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1843\" data-end=\"2063\">Currently, law enforcement have notified the head of a private company and a former company official who was responsible for organizing tenders of suspicion. They are accused under <strong data-start=\"2018\" data-end=\"2062\">Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong>. The issue of imposing preventive measures is being considered.
