The control was carried out under the instruction of the Prime Minister of Ukraine <strong data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"585\">Yuliia Svyrydenko<\/strong> to strengthen state supervision over prices for medicinal products and medical devices.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"897\">In each case inspectors recorded violations \u2014 business entities did not comply with the established maximum trade margins on medicinal products. In other words, drug prices were set in excess of the permitted norms.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"899\" data-end=\"1157\">As a result of the inspections <strong data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"993\">2 officials<\/strong> were held administratively liable. The total amount of fines was <strong data-start=\"1024\" data-end=\"1040\">5,100 hryvnias<\/strong>. In addition, <strong data-start=\"1062\" data-end=\"1074\">5 decisions<\/strong> were issued to apply administrative-economic sanctions in the amount of <strong data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1156\">8,689.34 hryvnias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1159\" data-end=\"1399\">The department emphasizes that residents can report possible violations of drug prices.
