It concerns the <strong data-start=\"532\" data-end=\"539\">M29<\/strong> models, which are being withdrawn from service in Sweden, but they remain suitable for further use.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"641\" data-end=\"890\">The project is at the stage of preliminary agreements. The final decision on the transfer of the vehicles still has to be made by the city authorities of <strong data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"781\">Gothenburg<\/strong> and the regional council. From the Ukrainian side, the <strong data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"889\">Ministry for Communities and Territories Development<\/strong> has also already joined the process. <span dir=\"auto\">This was said by <\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Senkevych<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\"> during a session of the Mykolaiv City Council.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"1183\">At the same time, before putting the vehicles into service in <strong data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"944\">Mykolaiv<\/strong> a key technical problem arises \u2014 different track gauges. The city uses a wider rail system than Sweden, so the trams will have to be adapted: change wheelsets, modify the structure and carry out a complete modernization. To prepare for this process, already in April specialists from the enterprise <strong data-start=\"1259\" data-end=\"1285\">&#8220;Mykolaivelektrotrans&#8221;<\/strong> will go to <strong data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1307\">Sweden<\/strong> to study the technical features of the vehicles and undertake practical preparation for their conversion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1399\" data-end=\"1703\">The financial question remains open. According to preliminary estimates, even a modernized used tram can cost around <strong data-start=\"1527\" data-end=\"1545\">800 thousand euros<\/strong>, while a new vehicle \u2014 up to <strong data-start=\"1572\" data-end=\"1593\">1.2 million euros<\/strong>.
