At the Central District Court of Mykolaiv<\/strong> a verdict was handed down to a local resident who was accused under Part 4 of Art. 152<\/strong>, Part 6 of Art. 152<\/strong> and Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong>. The case was heard in a closed session under the chairmanship of Judge Serhiy Medyuk<\/strong>. This was reported by the court’s press service on March 26<\/strong>, 2026.<\/p>\n

The court found that the man committed sexual violence against a child \u2014 the daughter of his partner. In addition, during a search of his residence a combat grenade RGD-5<\/strong>, which he had been illegally storing, was found and seized. The accused did not admit his guilt; however, after examining the case materials the court concluded that his guilt was proven and imposed a sentence of 15 years of imprisonment<\/strong>. The court also fully granted the civil claim of the victim’s representative and ordered the convict to pay 200,000 hryvnias<\/strong> in moral damages.<\/strong><\/p>\n
