In Uzhhorod<\/strong> a cash reward of 10,000 US dollars<\/strong> has been announced for any information about the possible whereabouts of former TCC employee Vitaliy Leiman<\/strong>. On March 21, 2026<\/strong> the publication reports<\/a> this. At the same time Vitaliy Leiman<\/strong> is officially wanted by the National Police of Ukraine after he on February 27, 2026<\/strong> left his place of service at military unit A5006<\/strong> without weapons.<\/p>\n

According to law enforcement, Vitaliy Ihorovych Leiman<\/strong>, born in 1989<\/strong>, a native of Zaporizhzhia, is currently listed as wanted. At the same time, public outcry around him has significantly increased due to statements about his possible use of brutal methods against residents of Zakarpattia while serving in the Uzhhorod TCC.<\/p>\n

The Vice-President of the Boxing Federation of Ukraine Mykhailo Danylo<\/strong> publicly stated that Vitaliy Leiman<\/strong> worked at the TCC for a long time concealing his face and took part in forceful detentions of local residents, using physical violence. He also announced an additional reward \u2014 of 2,000 US dollars<\/strong> for information about persons who may be helping the wanted man to hide.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis person, for a long time hiding his face behind a balaclava, worked in the Uzhhorod RTCK, violating the rights of our compatriots \u2014 kidnapping, inflicting bodily injuries and torturing our people, feeling unpunished. At present he has been declared wanted by law enforcement agencies. We are simply obliged to unite and defend ourselves against such visiting itinerant scoundrels who, violating human laws, mock our compatriots. Each of them must feel what they deserve and bear severe punishment!\u201d \u2013 said Mykhailo Danylo<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

At the same time other versions of events are appearing in the public space. ATO veteran and serving serviceman Ivan Beletskiy<\/strong> stated that Vitaliy Leiman<\/strong> may have been part of an informal group known as \u201cPajero\u201d. According to eyewitnesses, its members moved around the city in balaclavas in a black SUV \u2014 a Mitsubishi Pajero<\/strong> \u2014 and took part in forceful detentions of men.<\/p>\n

Journalist Vitaliy Hlahola<\/strong> also reported that, already being in a wanted status, Vitaliy Leiman<\/strong> allegedly could have returned to Uzhhorod and continued activities related to the so-called \u201cbusification.\u201d According to this information, he could have acted under the cover of the local TCC leadership, which may have known about his status and not reacted. Later, after a change in leadership, the situation allegedly changed: Vitaliy Leiman<\/strong> was transferred to a military unit, from which he disappeared, leaving service without authorization.<\/p>\n

At present all the allegations and additional circumstances need to be verified by law enforcement agencies. If confirmed, this would concern not only desertion but also possible serious violations of citizens’ rights that could be qualified under a number of articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
