{"id":577937,"date":"2026-03-20T16:53:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T14:53:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/2026\/03\/577937\/worked-for-the-occupiers-on-kinburn-and-denied-the-existence-of-ukraine-a-mykolaiv-region-resident-faces-life-imprisonment\/"},"modified":"2026-03-20T16:53:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T14:53:11","slug":"worked-for-the-occupiers-on-kinburn-and-denied-the-existence-of-ukraine-a-mykolaiv-region-resident-faces-life-imprisonment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/en\/2026\/03\/577937\/worked-for-the-occupiers-on-kinburn-and-denied-the-existence-of-ukraine-a-mykolaiv-region-resident-faces-life-imprisonment\/","title":{"rendered":"Worked for the occupiers on Kinburn and denied the existence of Ukraine: a Mykolaiv region resident faces life imprisonment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"207\" data-end=\"513\"><strong data-start=\"207\" data-end=\"231\">20 March <\/strong>2026 the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor&#8217;s Office announced charges in absentia against a resident of the village <strong data-start=\"309\" data-end=\"321\">Pokrovka<\/strong> <strong>of the Ochakiv territorial community.<\/strong> The woman is accused of treason, collaborationist activities and justification of the Russian Federation&#8217;s armed aggression \u2014 <strong data-start=\"459\" data-end=\"512\">Part 2 of Article 111, Part 5 of Article 111-1, Part 2 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"515\" data-end=\"933\">According to the investigation, in <strong data-start=\"537\" data-end=\"558\">September 2023<\/strong> she voluntarily joined the so\u2011called election commission in the temporarily occupied part of the <strong data-start=\"654\" data-end=\"682\">Kinburn Peninsula<\/strong> and took part in the sham elections to &#8220;the regional duma of Kherson Oblast&#8221;. In <strong data-start=\"756\" data-end=\"776\">October 2023<\/strong> the suspect, in comments to propagandistic media, justified Russia&#8217;s aggression, promoted narratives about the &#8220;legitimacy&#8221; of its actions and criticized the Ukrainian authorities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"1391\">In addition, according to law enforcement, the woman <strong>created and administered<\/strong> the Telegram channel &#8220;\u041a\u0438\u043d\u0431\u0443\u0440\u043d\u0441\u043a\u0430\u044f \u043f\u0440\u0430\u0432\u0414\u0410&#8221;. Through it she collected and passed to the Russian side data on the locations and activities of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other Ukrainian military formations on the territory of the Ochakiv community. The channel&#8217;s publications contained calls to provide coordinates, places of residence, vehicles and information about the personnel of Ukrainian military and special services. The suspect <strong>continues this activity<\/strong> now to the detriment of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1393\" data-end=\"1562\">The suspect is currently on the temporarily occupied territory of Mykolaiv Oblast. The special pre-trial investigation is being carried out by the <strong data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1561\">Department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Mykolaiv Oblast<\/strong>. If found guilty, she faces punishment of up to <strong>life imprisonment with confiscation of property.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Earlier we wrote:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a
