They promise Ukrainians allegedly monetary compensation for previous prolonged periods of forced power outages.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1359\">The company notes that the forms of such posts can vary. Scammers mention &#8220;payments&#8221; supposedly together with <strong data-start=\"1231\" data-end=\"1247\">&#8220;Oschadbank&#8221;<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1249\" data-end=\"1256\">the UN<\/strong> or the <strong data-start=\"1261\" data-end=\"1281\">Red Cross<\/strong> to give their scheme more credibility and gain people&#8217;s trust. <strong data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1376\">Ukrenergo<\/strong> emphasized that such messages are manipulation of a sensitive public issue. The company explained: <strong data-start=\"1478\" data-end=\"1497\">NEC &#8220;Ukrenergo&#8221;<\/strong> is the transmission system operator, not a supplier for household consumers, so <strong>it cannot make any compensatory payments to the population.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2060\" data-end=\"2329\">According to the company, attackers send people links to fake websites styled as <strong data-start=\"2159\" data-end=\"2173\">&#8220;Oschadbank&#8221;<\/strong> or other well-known institutions and organizations.
