In <\/span>Mykolaiv<\/span><\/strong> the children’s <\/span>entertainment <\/span>complex \u00ab<\/span>Happy <\/span>Land\u00bb <\/span>suspended <\/span>operations <\/span>after <\/span>reports <\/span>of <\/span>deteriorating <\/span>health <\/span>among <\/span>child <\/span>visitors. <\/span>The <\/span>facility’s <\/span>administration <\/span>reported <\/span>March <\/span>18<\/span><\/strong> on <\/span>its <\/span>page<\/a> <\/span>on <\/span>Facebook. <\/span>A <\/span>comprehensive <\/span>inspection <\/span>is <\/span>being <\/span>conducted <\/span>on <\/span>the <\/span>center’s <\/span>premises <\/span>together <\/span>with <\/span>regulatory <\/span>services, <\/span>as <\/span>well <\/span>as <\/span>a <\/span>full <\/span>disinfection <\/span>and <\/span>general <\/span>cleaning <\/span>of <\/span>all <\/span>rooms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, <\/span>an <\/span>outbreak <\/span>of <\/span>acute <\/span>intestinal <\/span>infection <\/span>among <\/span>children <\/span>was <\/span>recorded <\/span>in <\/span>the <\/span>city. <\/span>At <\/span>first, <\/span>4 <\/span>cases <\/span>of <\/span>illness <\/span>were <\/span>reported<\/span>4<\/span><\/strong>, <\/span>but <\/span>later <\/span>the <\/span>number <\/span>of <\/span>those <\/span>affected <\/span>rose <\/span>to <\/span>7<\/span><\/strong>, <\/span>of <\/span>whom <\/span>2<\/span><\/strong> children <\/span>were <\/span>hospitalized.<\/span><\/p>\n

A <\/span>criminal <\/span>investigation <\/span>has <\/span>been <\/span>opened <\/span>into <\/span>the <\/span>incident.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>head <\/span>of <\/span>the <\/span>Mykolaiv <\/span>district <\/span>prosecutor’s <\/span>office <\/span>Hryhoriy <\/span>Zinych<\/span><\/strong> stated <\/span>the <\/span>legal <\/span>qualification <\/span>of <\/span>the <\/span>incident:<\/span><\/p>\n

“<\/span>Information <\/span>about <\/span>the <\/span>offense <\/span>has <\/span>been <\/span>entered <\/span>into <\/span>the <\/span>Unified <\/span>Register <\/span>of <\/span>Pre-Trial <\/span>Investigations <\/span>under <\/span>the <\/span>signs <\/span>of <\/span>Part <\/span>1 <\/span>Art. <\/span>325 <\/span>CC <\/span><\/strong>of <\/strong><\/span>Ukraine<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 <\/span>violation <\/span>of <\/span>sanitary <\/span>rules <\/span>and <\/span>norms <\/span>regarding <\/span>the <\/span>prevention <\/span>of <\/span>infectious <\/span>diseases <\/span>and <\/span>mass <\/span>poisonings”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The <\/span>administration <\/span>of <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>HAPPY <\/span>LAND\u00bb <\/span>promised <\/span>to <\/span>additionally <\/span>report <\/span>the <\/span>results <\/span>of <\/span>the <\/span>inspection <\/span>and <\/span>further <\/span>decisions <\/span>regarding <\/span>the <\/span>center’s <\/span>operations.<\/span><\/p>\n
