In Mykolaiv<\/strong> five families<\/strong> among internally displaced persons received apartment orders. This was reported by the city council on March 19<\/strong>, 2026. These are municipal apartments that were restored with the support of the charity fund \u201cCaritas\u201d<\/strong> and provided to the families as temporary accommodation.<\/p>\n

The orders were presented by the first deputy mayor Vitaliy Lukov<\/strong> together with the head of the city council\u2019s housing registration and allocation department Serhiy Voitovych<\/strong>. According to the city, these apartments had previously been in a dilapidated condition after the former owners, but thanks to international assistance they were repaired and furnished.<\/p>\n

Five families<\/strong> who received housing were first in line. At the same time, about 100 families<\/strong> remain on the waiting list and also need housing. Allocation of apartments is carried out in accordance with the criteria defined by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for internally displaced persons.<\/p>\n

The city council also reported that an additional five apartments<\/strong> have already been prepared, which the charity fund \u201cCaritas\u201d<\/strong> submitted as a project for renovation and subsequent settlement of IDP families.<\/p>\n

“On behalf of the city, I thank you for choosing Ukraine and deciding to remain on land controlled by our state. These apartments are the property of the city. They were in a dilapidated condition from the previous owners. Thanks to a very good program of our international partners \u201cCaritas\u201d, repairs were carried out there and furniture was purchased. We wish you to settle in well in your new home”, – said the first deputy mayor Vitaliy Lukov<\/strong> to the new residents during the presentation of the orders.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
