Residents of the village of Oleksandrivka<\/strong> in the Stanislavska<\/strong> community in the Kherson region<\/strong> have been left without access to medical care \u2014 there are no medical personnel left in the settlement.<\/p>\n

This was reported by the head of the Stanislav village military administration, Oleksandr Babutskyi; his words are cited by \u201cBilozerka Info\u201d.<\/p>\n

The critical situation developed after a strike by a Russian drone that killed nurse Olena Vovk. Later another employee of the FAP resigned and left. Now, according to the administration, there is no one in the village to provide care \u2014 people are only being given medicines.<\/p>\n

The head of the village military administration added that the authorities maintain communication with the community and respond to residents\u2019 requests.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2014 Another nurse from this FAP resigned and left. Now there is no one in Oleksandrivka to provide medical care. We only deliver medicines to them; there is no other option. However, the administration is always in touch with the community, and in response to residents\u2019 appeals we try to resolve problems \u2014 that is what we work for,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to the regional military administration, due to shelling on the right bank of the Kherson region<\/strong>, 95%<\/strong> of medical facilities were damaged, 32<\/strong> medical workers were killed, and another 186<\/strong> were wounded.<\/p>\n

As of January 2026<\/strong>, 42<\/strong> medical institutions continued to operate in the region, comprising about 130<\/strong> establishments. Approximately 2,200<\/strong> specialists provide medical care, about 670<\/strong> of whom are doctors.<\/p>\n
