{"id":576790,"date":"2026-03-17T11:21:46","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T09:21:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/2026\/03\/576790\/ukraine-raised-the-implementation-of-the-agreement-with-the-eu-to-84-percent\/"},"modified":"2026-03-17T11:21:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T09:21:49","slug":"ukraine-raised-the-implementation-of-the-agreement-with-the-eu-to-84-percent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/en\/2026\/03\/576790\/ukraine-raised-the-implementation-of-the-agreement-with-the-eu-to-84-percent\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukraine raised the implementation of the Agreement with the EU to 84 percent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In <strong>2025<\/strong> Ukraine additionally fulfilled another <strong>3%<\/strong> of the commitments under the Association Agreement with the European Union: the overall indicator rose from <strong>81%<\/strong> to <strong>84%<\/strong>, the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine reported.<\/p>\n<p>The most notable shifts over the year were recorded in several areas, as reflected in the consolidated data of the relevant authorities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial sector \u2014 increase over the year <strong>8%<\/strong>, overall progress \u2014 <strong>82%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Social policy and labour relations \u2014 increase <strong>7%<\/strong>, overall progress \u2014 <strong>87%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Customs \u2014 increase <strong>5%<\/strong>, overall progress \u2014 <strong>96%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Agriculture \u2014 increase <strong>5%<\/strong>, overall progress \u2014 <strong>79%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the same time, the highest level of fulfillment of commitments was achieved in three areas: statistics and information exchange \u2014 <strong>100%<\/strong>, education, training and youth \u2014 <strong>99%<\/strong>, intellectual property \u2014 <strong>98%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In autumn <strong>2023<\/strong> Ukraine fully met four of the seven criteria that accompanied the granting of candidate country status for EU accession.<\/p>\n<p>In December <strong>2023<\/strong> the leaders of the European Union at the summit in <strong>Brussels<\/strong> supported the European Commission\u2019s recommendation to start accession negotiations with Ukraine. Then President Volodymyr Zelensky called the EU\u2019s decision a victory for all of Europe.<\/p>\n<p>In January <strong>2024<\/strong>, as part of preparations for the start of the negotiation process, an inaugural meeting was held in <strong>Brussels<\/strong> dedicated to screening Ukrainian legislation for compliance with EU law.<\/p>\n<p>In September <strong>2025<\/strong> Ukraine, together with the European Commission, moved on to screening meetings for the final negotiation cluster covering agriculture.
