Premises for housing for IDPs will be rented for 1 hryvnia without auctions
Zelensky signed a law that simplifies the transfer of property for displaced persons
State and municipal facilities can be allocated as housing for internally displaced persons without holding auctions. The corresponding amendments to the Law «On the Lease of State and Communal Property» were signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky — information about the signing is available on the document page on the Verkhovna Rada website. According to itd.rada.gov.ua.
A symbolic fee of 1 hryvnia is provided for the lease of premises to house displaced persons. The law eliminates a legal inconsistency and establishes an official basis for the simplified allocation of property for the needs of IDPs.
