Agree and Be On Time: Mykolaiv Youth Overcame Challenges in a Two-Day Quest
Participants sought unconventional solutions and learned to assign roles
26–27 September in Mykolaiv a two-day QuestCamp “The Maze Runner” took place. Youth formed teams for shared tasks and challenges, and also had the chance to make new acquaintances.
During the quest, participants completed logical and practical tasks, searching for unconventional solutions. Time for completion was limited, so they had to negotiate and act together.
Special attention was paid to interaction and communication: in many challenges individual skills alone were not enough. The outcome depended on how well participants could hear one another, allocate roles within the team and make decisions together.
As explained by the Mykolaiv City Council, the city aims for youth events not to be limited to positive emotions. Their goal is also to provide practical experience that young people can use beyond the event itself.
