In Pivdennoukrainsk, police found a 14-year-old boy on the balcony of the 10th floor of an apartment building. They made contact with the teenager and convinced him to leave the dangerous location. The minor’s life and health are not currently at risk.

In the morning, a local resident contacted Police Station No. 3 of the Voznesensk District Police Department. He reported that his underage grandson had left home and not returned. The day before, there had been an argument between the grandfather and the boy. The teenager allegedly went to training, and later a message of an alarming nature was sent from his phone.

Operatives and juvenile prevention officers of the Voznesensk District Police Department were involved in the search. They checked places where the young man could be and noticed a boy in a bright jacket on the balcony of a multi-storey building.

The police went up to the 10th floor, cautiously approached the minor and began talking with him. They listened to the boy and explained that difficult conflicts with relatives can be resolved, and that in a hard situation one should seek professional help. After the conversation, the teenager agreed to leave the dangerous place.

At the police station, the boy said that after the argument he tried to attract his family’s attention in this way but had no intention of harming himself. Preventive measures were carried out with the minor and his relatives, and they were reminded of the importance of seeking timely help in difficult life situations.
