In Mykolaiv, a renovated shelter in the Korabelnyi District has been closed for two years
Residents have already contacted the company "City for People"
In Mykolaiv the shelter at Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue, 303 has remained closed for two years, even though it was renovated. A local resident drew attention to this in the Contact Center group at the Mykolaiv City Council.
“For the second year this shelter has been closed, address — Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue, 303. They renovated it and closed it — why and for whom? An alarm is announced, people are instructed to go to the shelter — and this is where to go. Our buildings are serviced by the company “City for People”. At a meeting with representatives of this organization we asked questions; they promised to look into it. As we can see, an alarm sounds — and then what? I ask that measures be taken to clarify the situation. Thank you in advance.”
According to the complainant, residents had already raised the issue of access to the shelter during a meeting with representatives of the company “City for People”. At that time people were given a promise to investigate the situation.
Earlier it was reported that during a missile attack on Mykolaiv teenagers were not able to get into a shelter. A case was opened over this incident.
