On Central Avenue in Mykolaiv, asphalt buildups were cut near two stops

On Central Avenue in Mykolaiv, crews of the municipal enterprise «ELU Avtodorih» restored the evenness of the road surface near two public transport stops.
Ruts and waves formed in the asphalt. They were caused by constant braking of heavy vehicles and summer heat. The deformations hindered drivers and created discomfort for passengers.
The bulges were removed at the following locations:
- near the stop «Vodoprovidna Street»;
- near the stop of the shopping center «City Center».
A special road milling machine was used for the repair. It cuts off the deformed asphalt layer by layer down to the level of the base pavement. After that, workers removed the asphalt granulate and dust.
