Teenager fell from a train carriage after being struck by a conductor: Ukrainian Railways responded
The mother remained in the carriage: a 15-year-old passenger was beaten and not allowed back onto the train
On train No. 858K Khmelnytskyi — Kyiv an incident occurred involving a 15-year-old passenger. According to witnesses, at Fastiv station a conductor struck the boy, after which he fell out of the carriage and ended up on the ground. The incident became known on 19 August 2026 from a post by one of the passengers on Threads.
According to her, the incident happened in the first carriage. The passenger claims that the conductor and the female conductor showed signs of alcohol intoxication. Official results of any tests confirming their alcohol consumption have not yet been published. The witness reported that after the blow the teenager was not allowed back on the train, although he had a ticket and his mother was waiting for him in the carriage. The reason for the conflict remains unknown. After the boy’s mother caused a scene, the conductor, according to the passenger, left the train. The woman appealed to the driver and called the police.
At “Ukrzaliznytsia” they reported that both conductors were dismissed. Information about the incident was passed to law enforcement, and the teenager’s mother was apologized to.

The company added that it is maintaining contact with the woman and will assist with the investigation. At the time of preparing the news, the Kyiv region police had not published a separate official statement about the incident.
