"Shadow curator of Servant of the People" left the scene of an accident in Vinnytsia region: alcohol was detected in the driver
An accident involving three vehicles occurred on August 15 at around 6:00 PM
August 15 at around 6:00 PM in Vinnytsia Oblast a road traffic accident occurred involving three cars. Among those involved was a Chernivtsi businessman, Illia Pavliuk, whom journalists called the “shadow curator” of a group of People’s Deputies from the “Servant of the People” party.
After the accident Pavliuk left the scene. According to journalists, a Mercedes Brabus arrived for the businessman, and he left in it despite the police’s order to remain at the scene.
According to preliminary police information, the driver of the Ford entered the oncoming lane and collided with a Lexus. The Lexus then, due to momentum, crashed into a Volkswagen Passat.
Later law enforcement stopped the Lexus driver at a checkpoint. A medical examination showed that he had 2.46 per mille of alcohol in his system. The Ford driver was recorded at 1.6 per mille.
