A serviceman from the village of Blahodatne in the Mykolaiv region, Serhii Kucher, has returned from Russian captivity. The defender spent four years in captivity.
The return of the serviceman on August 15 was reported by the Department for Veteran Policy of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
After Serhii Kucher’s arrival, a gathering was organized in the village. Local residents came to greet the defender, support him, and see him after the long separation.
“Four long years of captivity… Four years of waiting, hope and faith in his return. And finally — the most important words: “Welcome home!””, the report says.
Earlier it was reported that in the Mykolaiv region a former colony employee was convicted of treason.
