From energy modernization to SUP boards: in Mykolaiv, heads of condominium associations cleaned the banks of the Southern Bug
The participants cleared away the glass and played active games
Last weekend in Mykolaiv, as part of Sustainable Energy Week, an eco-cleanup event for the heads of condominium associations (OSBB) took place. The event on the bank of the Southern Bug combined training, practical experience, and active recreation.
During the meeting, participants discussed energy modernization of apartment buildings, the use of renewable energy sources, ways to reduce utility costs, and the ecological improvement of surrounding communal areas.
After the theoretical part, participants jointly cleaned the bank of the Southern Bug of litter. In particular, they removed broken glass.
To make the training not only useful but also fun, participants played the “energy-efficient Crocodile” and tried themselves in active games. They also rode stand-up paddleboards.
Such meetings show that the heads of condominium associations (OSBB) are not only managers but also active drivers of change, ready to make their buildings, courtyards, and Mykolaiv more comfortable, cleaner, and more energy-efficient.
The event took place with financial support from partners, including Covenant of Mayors – East, who support sustainable development and energy efficiency initiatives.
