Bronze result: three boxers from Mykolaiv became medalists at all-Ukrainian competitions
Three medals from Uzhhorod: Mykolaiv juniors distinguished themselves at the Ukrainian Championship

Pupils of Mykolaiv Specialized Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 6 won three bronze medals at the Ukrainian Junior Boxing Championships. The results of the athletes were reported by the Mykolaiv City Council on July 27, 2026.
The competition took place from July 17 to 26 in Uzhhorod. The strongest young boxers from various regions of Ukraine met in the ring.
The championship medalists were:
- Amid Veliiev — bronze medal in the weight category up to 80 kg;
- Maksym Suprunov – bronze in the 66 kg;
- Vadym Lubenets — bronze medal in the weight category over 80 kg;
- Vladyslava Habrus — bronze medal in the weight category over 80 kg.
Thanks to their successful performance, all three Mykolaiv athletes also met the standard for Candidate for Master of Sport of Ukraine. The Mykolaiv athletes are coached by Volodymyr Bukalov, Oleksiy Kapatsyna andVitaliy Bakalets.
