On Tuesday, 30 June 2026, hourly power outage schedules may be applied in Mykolaiv region. Restrictions are forecast for the evening period — from 16:00 to 22:00 in the amount of one stage.

This was reported by JSC “Mykolaivoblenergo”, citing an order from the NEC “Ukrenergo”.

Oblenergo emphasized that these are forecast volumes of restrictions. The operational situation in the power system may change, so the company must additionally publish the exact schedule for the rotating outages.

If power goes out outside the schedule, consumers can check the cause of the outage and the estimated restoration time on the official website of JSC “Mykolaivoblenergo”.

The oblenergo warning came against the backdrop of abnormal heat and a sharp increase in electricity consumption. The CEO of the energy company Yasno, Sergiy Kovalenko, noted that high temperatures create additional load not only because of air conditioners, but also directly on power equipment.

Explaining the situation in the power system, Sergiy Kovalenko drew attention to the rise in consumption and the condition of the equipment.

“Europe, and along with it Ukraine, has entered a period of abnormal heat. For the energy sector this means one thing — a sharp increase in consumption… Heat is also a serious test for equipment that has been operating in wartime conditions for more than four years and has endured numerous attacks”.

After the winter Russian shelling, energy workers returned a significant part of the damaged equipment to operation. At the same time, the country is in the season of repairs and infrastructure restoration.

Describing the current state of energy facilities, the CEO of Yasno said that some equipment is operating at the limit of its capabilities.

“After the winter shelling, the energy workers managed to stabilize the system and return a significant part of the damaged equipment to service. But now an active season of repairs and restoration is underway. Part of the infrastructure is under repair, part is literally operating at the limit of its capabilities”.

According to Sergiy Kovalenko, the power system will operate under very strained conditions in the coming days. He urged Ukrainians to be prepared for various scenarios.

Addressing consumers, the head of Yasno advised monitoring messages from energy companies and charging devices ahead of time.

“That is why in the next few days the power system will operate under very strained conditions. I hope we will be able to get through this period without significant restrictions. But, as always during the war, it is worth being prepared for various scenarios. A power bank, charged gadgets and a bit of attention to messages from energy companies will certainly not be superfluous”.
