"No damage" does not mean "no danger": Russians again attacked communities in the Mykolaiv region

In the Mykolaiv region the past day again passed under the threat of enemy attacks. Combat activity took place in the region, however, according to preliminary data, there were no damages or casualties. This was reported on the morning of 5 June 2026 by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration (OVA).

In the Mykolaiv district Russian forces attacked twice with FPV drones the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. There is no information about casualties. According to the OVA, as of now no damage has been recorded either.

Despite the lack of consequences, the very fact of repeated FPV attacks once again shows that the coastal communities of the Mykolaiv region remain under constant drone pressure from Russian forces. For local residents this does not mean a “quiet day”, but another day of living next to danger.
