In Ukrainka of Mykolaiv Raion, 160 sq. m of the roof of a residential house burned out during the night

On Thursday night, May 21, in the village of Ukrainka of the Halytsynivka community in the Mykolaiv district, a large fire broke out on the roof of a residential house; the burning area amounted to 160 sq. m, and units of the State Emergency Service (SES) and the local fire brigade were involved in extinguishing it.
According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region, a report of the fire came in during the night from Ukrainka, after which on-duty rescue forces were dispatched to the scene.
The fire originated in the roof of a private residential house; the flames quickly spread through the roof structures, requiring additional forces to localize it.
Firefighters from the local SES unit and members of the Halytsynivka detachment of the local fire protection service took part in extinguishing the blaze, working together to contain the fire and prevent its further spread.
The area of the fire amounted to 160 sq. m; the agency’s report did not specify any possible casualties or the cause of the fire.
