On April 26, Mykolaiv will rehome stray animals at Chestnut Square
All cats and dogs are sterilized, vaccinated against rabies, and treated for parasites; the event will last from 10:00 to 14:00
In Mykolaiv on Sunday, April 26, an adoption fair for stray animals will be held in Kashtanovyi Square: from 10:00 to 14:00 those interested will be able to choose a four-legged friend.
The event is organized by the municipal enterprise “Animal Protection Center”. Only cats and dogs that are currently on the municipal enterprise’s premises will be involved.
The City Council informed that the purpose of the event is to help find permanent homes for stray animals and to encourage responsible treatment of them.
All participants of the exhibition — adult cats and dogs, as well as kittens and puppies — are sterilized, vaccinated against rabies, and treated for parasites.
Those planning to take a pet home must have a passport (can be in the “Diia” app) and an identification code.
