Shahed struck Mykolaiv: a garage and a car burned, authorities urge people not to ignore air-raid alerts
There are no civilian casualties
In the morning of April 4, 2026, in Mykolaiv, as a result of an enemy attack by drones of the “Shahed” type, a fire broke out in a garage. This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim. The fire destroyed a vehicle, but firefighters promptly extinguished it. There are no casualties.
After the attack, district administration workers inspected the surrounding area. According to preliminary data, no damage was recorded in the residential sector.
Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych commented on the consequences of the attack.

The authorities once again remind residents of the danger and urge them not to ignore air-raid alarms.
According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region, the fire broke out in a garage area of 150 sq.m; the vehicle was completely destroyed by the flames. Firefighters promptly extinguished the fire with the involvement of special equipment and a firefighting robot.
