Strike on children on vacation: 10 wounded as a result of a Russian drone attack in the Mykolaiv region
Another Russian attack on civilians: the number of wounded is rising
In the evening of 28 March 2026, Russian forces attacked the Voskresenska community of Mykolaiv Raion with drones – civilians were injured, mostly children. Three private homes, three shops and a car were also damaged.
As a result of the attack and the fall of UAV debris at a public recreation area, ten people were injured – two women aged 40 and 18 years, five girls and three boys aged from 10 to 16 years. All the injured were hospitalized.
By the morning of 29 March 2026, a 40-year-old woman and two girls aged 13 and 15 are in serious condition, while six other injured children are in moderate condition.
28 March the enemy also twice attacked with FPV drones the Kutsurubska and Ochakivska communities of Mykolaiv Raion, where a car and a power line were damaged. There were, preliminarily, no casualties.
In addition, according to the Mykolaiv RMA, other parts of the region were also under enemy attacks during the past day. In the Voznesensk Raion, windows of an educational institution and a power line were damaged as a result of a strike, leaving one settlement partially without electricity.
