What a "ceasefire": Russia has once again attacked the Ochakiv and Halytsynivka communities

As of the morning of April 13, 2026, according to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, during the past day, April 12, Russian forces attacked 4 times with FPV drones the Ochakivska and Halytsynivska communities of Mykolaiv Raion. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.
What adds particular cynicism to this situation is that these strikes occurred precisely when the Russian side had already announced the so-called “Easter ceasefire’. According to Reuters, on April 10, 2026 Putin announced a 32-hour ceasefire, which was supposed to take effect from 16:00 on Saturday, April 11, until the end of Sunday, April 12. But already in the first hours of this regime Ukraine reported numerous violations.
AP reported that as of 07:00 on Sunday the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had recorded 2299 violations of the declared ceasefire, including assaults, shelling and launches of small drones. So for the coastal communities of Mykolaiv region this “ceasefire’ was not a real pause from the war: even during Easter day hostile FPV drones were again flying over people.
